Cleaning: Use a silver cloth to polish and restore the glossy finish of the star and the back of the pendant, avoiding direct contact with the gemstone and the matte background of the star, as it can damage them. The matte part may darken with use, but this is a natural and beautiful aspect of its patina development. To clean your gemstone and restore its shine, gently scrub with a soft-bristled brush, warm water, and detergent-free soap. Let the gemstone air dry completely before storing.
Avoid: Do not expose sterling silver to highly chlorinated water. However, it is safe for use while showering and in the ocean, as long as you rinse it in cold water afterwards.
